 Phone Problems !

Please be aware we have had telephone problems all day and this is continuing please email the practice instead if you can, admin.thevillagesurgery@nhs.net or try our patient Triage see below for link,  if not please keep trying we only have one line into the practice so unless it is urgent could we ask you delay your call until we get it fixed. From 6.30 this evening Monday 29th November please call 111 if you need medical help we will open our telephones again at 8 am in the morning but are unsure if the problem will be fixed by then so will only have one line coming in so only one call at a time can be dealt with. Your patience on this matter is greatly appreciated .

The submitted forms will only be read during office hours. The forms will not be read on the weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) or on bank holidays. They will not be read Monday-Friday between the hours of 6pm - 8am Please contact 111 during out of hours or 999 if this is an emergency."

 

Due to increased pressure and to free up the phone lines for more urgent matters, From the 1st November patients will no longer be able to order medication over the telephone

NHS Medication Log in if you do not have access to the internet you can ask a pharmacy to order for you.

We have recently started to invite patients in for a Free NHS health Check the criteria is below, it is important to be screened regularly even if you have no out standing problems.

You'll be invited for a free NHS Health Check every five years if you're between 40 and 74 years of age and do not already have heart disease, stroke, diabetes, kidney disease or high blood pressure
